From emerging technologies to evolving attack vectors, this discussion promises to foresee the cybersecurity landscape of 2024 and beyond.

Paul C Dwyer, President ICTTF International Cyber Threat Task Force / CEO, Cyber Risk International
Paul C Dwyer is recognised as one of the world’s foremost experts on cyber security, risk and privacy. As CEO of Cyber Risk International he specialises in corporate and enterprise security, development of cyber defence programs, and business operations protection for CRI clients. As founder and President of the ICTTF International Cyber Threat Task Force he is an advocate for diversity in the industry and leads a community of over 30,000 with a common goal to defeat cyber evil.
Certified an industry professional by the International Information Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) and the Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA). Approved by the National Crime Faculty and the HTCN High Tech Crime Network. He has worked extensively around the world his diverse career spans more than 30 years working with military, law enforcement and the commercial sector.
Paul is a fellow of the Irish Computer Society and a member of a number of industry groups including the IoD (Institute of Directors), IIEA (Institute of International and European Affairs) and the IRM (Institute of Risk Management). He holds a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Corporate Governance Institute and is Certified by Harvard as a Higher Education specialist.
Pat Ryan, Detective Superintendent Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau Chair of the European Union Cybercrime Taskforce
Pat has been a member of An Garda Síochána for over 28 years and since 2019 is the Detective Superintendent responsible for overseeing operations at the Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau. The Bureau is responsible for the investigation of all cyber dependent crime in this jurisdiction. The Bureau also provides for top tier forensics for all digital media seized as part of national investigations. Prior to this appointment, Pat was attached to the Garda ICT Division for 22 years. As Superintendent responsible for IT Operations & Security, Pat was responsible for the strategic and tactical planning, operation and deployment of all IT systems within An Garda Síochána.
Over the years Pat has represented An Garda Síochána at various EU meetings, including Europol, Interpol, ENLETS, EU-Lisa and was responsible for the delivery of a number of Garda Organisational IT systems. Pat currently represents An Garda Síochána as a board member on the European Union Cybercrime Task Force (EUCTF) and is also a member of the Interpol Global Cybercrime Experts Group. Pat holds a Master Degree in Forensic Computing and Cybercrime Investigations from University College Dublin.
Tracy Pound – Chair of the Board of Directors, CompTIA
With over 38 years’ experience in the IT industry, Tracy has set up and runs 3 businesses – 2 in technology and 1 insurance brokerage. She has been part of various government initiatives to help businesses grow, including an ERDF funded project to develop a standard to support SME IT businesses. She is a member of the Chartered Management Institute, a member of the Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the Institute of Consulting and a qualified PRINCE 2 practitioner.
Tracy is also Chair of the Board of Directors for CompTIA, an Advisory Board member for Channel Futures and a member of the CompTIA Education Faculty where she delivers Managing The Channel training to CompTIA members, as well as delivering CompTIA member content at Channel events across Europe.
Gill Thomas, Director of Engagement, Capacity & Resilience, Global Cyber Alliance
Gill joined the Global Cyber Alliance (GCA) in June 2018 and has spent a number of years scaling cyber hygiene initiatives and capacity building across multiple countries with particular focus on micro, small businesses and vulnerable communities. Her early career was spent within the telecommunications industry where she held various roles in technical, business development and management positions. She took time out with her young family in 2009 and on her return she found the drive towards digitalisation, whilst positive, was also highlighting serious data and online security failings on a global scale – exponentially increasing to the proliferation of cyber crime. Shocked also by the growing global digital divide she joined GCA and their mission to address systemic cyber risk to enable a secure and trustworthy Internet for all.

Paul Edmondson, Commercial Director at InspiritVision
Paul has been in the IT industry for over 40 years and is a pioneer in the field of Identity & Access Management (IAM). He is a mature executive with experience in all aspects of IT.
Over the last 25 years IAM has been his main focus working with product developers, Industry thought leaders and implementing real world solutions into the finance, public sector and commercial environments in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Paul has excellent relationships and solid exposure working with key manufacturers, the partner community and direct to clients with large scale footprints.
Paul will be facilitating ‘Modernising Identity & Access Management for Enhanced Security’ a very topical headline and key to protecting and enabling staff resources and their right to access critical information.
