Renaissance Cyber Expo & Conference 2020

The time to start thinking about the fourth annual Renaissance Cyber Expo & Conference has arrived. Everyone can insert their own thoughts here about how long this year has felt! The main reason for those thoughts means that the 2020 event will be hosted online rather than face-to-face. It'll run from 8am to 3pm on Tuesday the 24th of November 2020 if you want to mark the slot in your diary. Registration is now open.

The 2020 Cyber Expo & Conference is free to attend and will be focused on cost-effective and managed security solutions for the SME, Enterprise, Public Sector, and Local Government markets. Vendors in the Renaissance partner portfolio will be available virtually for planned talks and informal chats and discussions in all topics related to cybersecurity. These activities will be delivered using a dual element approach:

  • A Virtual Expo - a chance to meet world leaders in cybersecurity via virtual booths on the virtual conference floor (see below image).
  • Online Talks and Presentations - experts will be presenting and taking questions on cybersecurity topics that are relevant to the 2020 threat landscape.

The full presentation timetable and virtual conference hall exhibitor lists are still being finalised. Keep an eye on our website or LinkedIn page for updates.

Living in a Virtual World

The world has gone virtual. Hosting this year's Cyber Expo & Conference Ireland as a virtual event will not be a jump into the unknown. We hosted the Renaissance Cyber Series as a 100% online event last May, and it was a great success. The November 2020 Cyber Expo & Conference will build on our experience from May to make sure that the November event delivers the information and contacts needed to make attendance on the day a good use of your time.

The Expo component of the event will comprise of virtual vendor booths, at which you will be able to get more information on their products and ask vendor experts any questions you have. The virtual booth experience will provide an online replacement for walking from booth to booth on the expo floor of past events.

The talks and presentations will be delivered via video. We are all used to how that works now! Each session will be focused, and there will be a chance to ask questions.

Conclusion

The Cyber Expo & Conference is open to all IT sector and end-user organisations operating in Ireland. Sign up free today and join us online in November to find out all the latest on cybersecurity thinking and products. Alternatively, contact us if you want to start a conversation about your organisation's cybersecurity before then.

Look forward to welcoming you all (virtually) in November!
